W.A. Delegate Election Act

Proposed Statute No. 6

An Act to hold the W.A. Delegate accountable.

SEEING the need for a more effective way of deciding our W.A. Delegate,
ENSURING that our region is adequately represented in the World assembly.
HEREBY enacts the W.A. Delegate Election Act.

Short Title

(1) This act may be referred to as the “W.A. Delegate Election Act”.

Election Process

(2) The election of the W.A. Delegate shall follow the same schedule as outlined in the Constitution.
(3) All citizens shall be permitted to vote.

Endorsements

(4) After the conclusion of the election, citizens shall be granted 2 days to endorse the new Delegate.

Terms

(5) The W.A. Delegate shall serve terms of six years that coincide with the election of the Attorney General.
